The pandemic was still raging, but life needed to go on.  
The question proposed was, "how?"  How do we stay together, but yet apart.  This was the challenged proposed to the students.

The concept is an international space disco where dancing is the international language.  Each dancer can dance separately on their own dance pad and the image of their pad is projected on the wall.  Other dancers can then join in, by pushing the coordinating the color coded lights of the dance partner they'd like to join in and both of their images are now projected on the wall.  Together, yet seperate.

Each tile in the dance pad is wired up individually to respond to the dancer's movements.
